Peter Campbell

Peter Campbell is an underwater archaeologist, who’s interests and primary expertise are site formation and watercraft. He earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and a master’s degree in maritime studies from East Carolina University. He has worked on terrestrial and submerged sites around the world, including several on the National Register of Historic Places (Wawona, CSS Neuse, CSS Jackson, CSS Chattahoochee, HL Hunley, Queen Anne’s Revenge) and of international significance (Vasa, Temple Mount, Pavlopetri).
